I loveee seasonal drinks and this one I’ve just recently discovered. I’m all about speculoos, so adding it to my coffee—like, why haven’t I thought of this sooner? It’s insanely delicious, cozy, and yes, you can make it high-protein with a scoop of vanilla protein powder. Basically, it’s the perfect little coffee moment to get you in the festive christmas mood. Ingredients
1 shot espresso (30–40 ml)
1–2 tsp syrup (vanilla or maple)
1 tsp speculoos spice or 1–2 tsp speculoos cream
Ice cubes
200–250 ml almond milk
Optional: 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (mixed into the milk)
Instructions:
Brew your espresso shot.
Add the syrup and speculoos spice or cream to your glass.
Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes.
Pour the espresso over the ice and stir so the syrup and spice dissolve.
Mix the almond milk with the protein powder (if using) until smooth.
Slowly pour the milk over the espresso mixture.
Stir gently, grab a straw, and sip. You’ve got yourself a little dessert-meets-coffee moment.
