If you’ve ever made a smoothie bowl and ended up with a sad soup-y mess… I feel you. But once you figure out the right ratios and get a few go-to combos down? Game. Changer. Smoothie bowls are one of my favorite ways to start the day (or cool down with a dessert when it’s hot out). They’re fresh, satisfying, and honestly just fun to put together.
So let’s break it down. Here’s everything you need to know to make your own dreamy, nutrient-packed bowl at home 💅
🧊 Step 1: My Go-To Smoothie Bowl Base
This is the base I use every single time—it’s simple, high-protein, and gets that perfect creamy texture without needing a ton of ingredients:
The base formula:
1/3 frozen banana (for sweetness + texture)
1–2 tbsp quark or Greek yogurt (for creaminess + protein)
1 scoop of protein powder (I switch based on the flavor I want)
Tiny splash of water (literally just enough to blend)
👉 Blend until thick and smooth. Add water slowly—less is more!
Once that’s blended, I customize it based on my mood, fruit stash, or what flavor I’m going for.
