High-Protein Oreo Ninja Creami Recipe
Oreo ice cream but make it high protein and more satisfying 🍦
If you're craving cookies & cream ice cream but want a healthier, protein-packed version, this Ninja Creami Oreo Ice Cream is PERFECT!!
Is the Ninja Creami Worth the Hype?
After using the Ninja Creami for three months, I can confidently say it lives up to the hype. It makes the creamiest, high-protein ice cream with minimal effort, and I’ve been completely obsessed with experimenting with different flavors and mix-ins. If you love ice cream but want a healthier alternative, this machine is 100% worth it!
No Ninja Creami? You can still make this by blending the ingredients and freezing, but the texture won’t be quite as smooth.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
High in Protein – Over 30g per serving (depending on your protein powder).
No Heavy Cream or Added Sugar – Uses Greek yogurt or cottage cheese for creaminess.
Super Easy to Make – Just blend, freeze, and spin in the Ninja Creami.
Prep Time: 5 minutes I Freeze time: 24 hours I 1 pint
Ingredients
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or milk of choice)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt or cottage cheese (for creaminess & extra protein)
1 scoop vanilla or cookies & cream protein powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 tsp sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or a sugar-free option)
2 Oreo cookies (1 mixed in, 1 crumbled on top)
Instructions:
1. Blend the Base: In a blender, mix almond milk, Greek yogurt (or cottage cheese), protein powder, vanilla extract, and sweetener until smooth.
2. Freeze: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for at least 12 hours (overnight works best) but I’d actually recommend 24 hours for the best consistency.
3. Spin in the Ninja Creami: Once frozen, place the pint into the Ninja Creami and use the Lite Ice Cream or Soft Serve setting. If the texture is crumbly, add a splash of almond milk and respin.
4. Mix in the Oreo: Crush one Oreo and mix it in using the Mix-In function. Top with the second crushed Oreo for extra crunch.
Tips & Substitutions:
No Ninja Creami? Blend everything, freeze in a shallow dish, then break into chunks and re-blend before serving.
For a dairy-free option: Use coconut yogurt instead of Greek yogurt and a plant-based protein powder.
For extra creaminess: Use Fairlife or another high-protein milk instead of almond milk.
Lower carb? Swap Oreos for high-protein cookies or sugar-free alternatives.
More mix-ins? Try crushed almonds, dark chocolate chips, or peanut butter swirls.
