Dates 3 Ways: Quick, Easy & High Protein
The perfect pre-workout or mid-day snack 🍫🍯
Three ways to make dates your new go-to snack
Dates weren’t really on my snack radar—until the whole date bark trend got me hooked. Especially Medjool dates… chewy, naturally sweet, and basically tiny energy bombs, just perfect for a quick pre-workout snack.
I’ve been experimenting with ways to level them up instead of eating them plain, and came up with three super easy, protein-packed variations. Quick, fun, and way tastier than your usual snack—ready in just 10–15 minutes. Perfect for a mid-day pick-me-up or pre-gym bite!!
The Three Variations
1. Choco PB Crunch 🍫
PB + dark chocolate chips + pinch of sea salt
Basically dessert disguised as a snack. Sweet, salty, and slightly melty—perfect for when you want chocolate but also some protein.
2. Cinna-Cheese Crunch 🍯
Cottage cheese + honey + nuts + cinnamon
Creamy, nutty, lightly spiced. Cozy snack vibes, plus it hits that protein goal without feeling heavy.
3. Berry Yogurt Bite 🍓
Greek yogurt + honey/maple syrup + dried strawberries
Fruity, creamy, and refreshing. Kind of like a mini dessert in every bite, but actually good for you.

Sweetness: Adjust honey or nut butter based on your taste preference.
Make Ahead: Prep all three variations and store in airtight containers for a snack-ready stash.
Substitutions & Variations
Swap peanut butter for almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter.
Swap cottage cheese with ricotta for a creamier option.
Use any dried fruit in place of strawberries for Berry Yogurt Bites.
Dark chocolate chips can be swapped for cacao nibs if you want less sugar.
